The Living Legacy
You don't have to die before your children get your legacy.
Years ago, as a struggling 19-year-old dad to a two-year-old boy named Tyler, I came home to hear about his behavior. I walked toward him — and he ran and hid. When I found him he was crying. He said, “I'm afraid of you because you're going to spank me.”
I cried. And in that moment, flashbacks of getting punched in the face by my own father-figure flooded my mind.
That day changed the direction of my life. It's also the reason I teach what I call Default-Mode Parenting — the legacy that was programmed into you by your own father, parent, or mentor, and how to rewrite it before it writes your children.
- Create a true Living Legacy — while you're still here to enjoy it
- Become the approachable, contagious parent and mentor
- Be the parent you always wanted
